A Note on CoVid-19 and Lab Operations

The Children’s Emotions Lab remains operational through the COVID-19 pandemic in alignment with Virginia Tech protocol and CDC guidelines. There are currently many ways our graduate and undergraduate students are staying engaged and productive during this period. There are opportunities to join research teams that include safe, socially-distanced use of the physical lab space to code existing behavioral data, working remotely on behavioral coding, participating in active data collection via Zoom and in person, and more. Undergraduate students will have the opportunity to work closely with graduate students and the lab's primary investigator and will learn about the process of human subjects research though practical skills such as using statistical software and literature review. Our students' safety is our priority at this time. For more information on CoVid-19 and lab operations, please contact techkids@vt.edu
